Had a great turnout at the show last nite! Big thanks to everyone that came out.

Also wanted to give a thanks to the great people at Oz Kafe as well as the fine folks over at Canvas Pop who do an amazing job transferring the digital pieces on to canvas.

Jimmy Two Shoes on Teletoon Saturday 21st!

One more plug for Jimmy Two Shoes before it premiere's here in Canada on Teletoon this Saturday at 7am!....so, maybe go to bed now, so you can rest up real good for the 7am Saturday mourning viewing. We had a talented crew directed by Jeff Barker (who also boarded one of the best episodes 'Masked Jackhammer') and Sean Scott, with designs by Josh Gay, Darren Ward, Dave Merritt, Dave Boudreau, Steve Harris and boards by Phil Lafrance, Jamie Leclaire, Helder Mendonca, Nick Cross, Riccardo Durante, Simon Paquette, Steve Stefanelli, Jose Pou, Jordan Voth, Mike Smukavic, Steve Whitehouse, Blayne Burnside, Ted Collyer and many more...........and animated by one of the best animation teams this side of the 49th!

As shows are aired I'll start posting designs, and as a few have already aired on Disney XD, here be a few of them I did over a year ago now for the first couple episodes.

Two Shoes in March!

A few days ago the 'Jimmy Two Shoes' Teletoon site launched. I believe it premiere's March 21st at 7am......I thought we were going head to head against CSI, but maybe they are moving to the 7am saturday spot??

I worked as the Lead Character Designer....and was also able to do one of the boards, and about 40 of the title cards. Along with the rest of the crew, I poured a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this here project, and am pretty damn proud of it......so don't go dancing, or shuffleboarding, or whatever you do on regular Friday nights, cause your getting up real early Saturday mourn, of the 21st! Sean Scott' created another dandy..

Before I move on, I found a few more concepts I had done for this show. At first we had talked about doing the flat style, which seems to be all the rage with kiddies these days (..and that I also love drawing)....but, when we had abandoned that idea, I wanted to try something a bit more original and a style I have been working on lately....thus, you have my last post and the 2 colored designs on this post.....more to come shortly!

After 18 months of picking away, the film is now completed! Clocks in at 4:14 min, which seems so short for how long I have spent on the damn thing, but when all you have are evenings and weekends, there just isn't a whole lot more I could do...a guy needs to have a beer every once in awhile to.

Feels great to finally have this film finished, and I hope it will be hitting a festival near you over the next couple years, and hopefully by the end of its tours i will have another 4 minute film finished!

I will have a small portion of the film up for viewing shortly, but in the meantime, here are a few screen captures.

Triumphant Campaigns of Captain Cudney

The character animation for my film is now complete, and while the music is being made by the talented Amanda Downing, I will be finishing a few FX and touching up some of the backgrounds I have grown to hate. All in all I figure the entire film will be completed mid May.....this has been a long haul for 4 and half minutes of animation!!!

Weird Years

Last year I had worked as an animator on this here show "Weird Years". This was me getting my feet wet in the animation program Harmony, and the flash experience I had already, sure made the transition to the new program much easier. I worked on the show for about 8 months before jumping over to design on Gerald Mcboing Boing season 2.

Been awhile...........so anyhow, I think its now safe to announce my first bit of big news of the new year! Over the last few months I have been working as the character designer on the best new show to be coming your way, Jimmy Two Shoes. This is a hilarious conception of Sean Scott's (Doodlez, Ollie's Adventures), and an absolute dream to work on......a hellova lot of work as I am the only character designer for the show, but it has given me the opportunity to really push myself and I think this will be my best work to date. I have had the chance already to learn so much as we have a crazy talented crew on board!

As the production has only been in full swing for a few months now, I probably won't be able to show much of my work for about a year..... so enjoy this little caption from the old layouts and designs.

Hope to have my Gerald Mcboing Boing season 2 designs up soon.....
